I Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn’t.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I’m more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King’s bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.

I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don’t know if I’m strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He’s already saved me in more ways than one. Now it’s my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else…

Excerpt :

King snarled. “You seem to have forgotten who the fuck I am, Pup. So I’m going to remind you.” He pressed his hips against mine. “I’m the man who took you against your will and handcuffed you to my fucking bed. I’m the man who wanted you, so I fucking kept you.” He cocked an eyebrow. “Do you really think you have a choice when it comes to being mine?”

King lifted me onto the dresser and pushed himself between my legs, forcing my legs apart. He held my wrists behind my back forcing my shoulders backwards and pushing my chest into his. My dress rode up to the tops of my thighs. King pushed a strand of hair behind my ears and leaned in to me, his lips just a breath away from mine. The room was getting hot. I couldn’t breathe. I needed…I don’t know what I needed. “No more questions.”

I opened my mouth to argue. “Stop fucking talking,” he snapped.

King lifted me off the dresser and carried me and set me down in front of the full-length mirror that hung on the closet door. He stood behind me. A head taller than me and outweighing me by a hundred pounds, our differences had never been more obvious. His dark jeans and dark tank top were a stark contrast to my little white eyelet sundress. My pale skin next to his tanned. My white hair to his black. It was a sight that made my knees weak. Because although the reflection in the mirror made our differences obvious, it also made me see how well the two fit together.

This book was one of the most expected sequel, I was eager to read the final instalment of Doe and King’s story … And when this one popped on my Kindle, I couldn’t wait!

Do you remember the feeling of riding a rollercoaster? Their journey was exactly that way; with ups and downs, a lot of looping, so quick to turn you on your head!

The first one was terrific but that one was so much better!! Definitely explosive!

TM Frazier dropped the bomb at the end of book one; and King was in rage. Anger lashes on his mind; if you read the first book, and met King, you knew that this guy wasn’t kidding at all. If he had to kill someone, he would do it, especially if she was threatened. You just don’t mess with him.

His goal: get back his woman, Doe and seeking revenge! It’s time for WAR!

Oh my, I don’t want to meet a pissed King, trust me. After his not so smart decision for Doe’s sake, he’s more than determined. Everything was slipping through his fingers;  his woman and his family. When he got attacked by an old enemy, King’s true nature awoken, and he would do anything to protect what’s his.

Doe’s past is revealed little by little, through the glimpse of her memories. She didn’t remember anything first . It was like she was meeting another version of herself, the side of the life of a daughter’s senator. A stranger. She didn’t fit in this life at all.

While the noose was tightening around King, Doe’s was struggling with her past, trying to get her memories back. The intensity of Doe’s memories was increasing all along the story; to a point when the truth came out, it was a freaking tsunami! I didn’t see that one coming!

How did she loose her memories? Why? You gonna find out in this thrilling second and final part.

Doe and King are stronger than ever; their love is powerful, carnal, a primal need. Even in the hardest moments in their lives, their love is never questioned. It’s not granted either, they know that they have to fight their demons, but together, nothing gonna stop them.

I really appreciated the evolution of both characters; Doe’s turning into a strong and tough woman. King totally melt my heart, sure he’s not sweet or a saint, but his unconditional love for Doe, family and his “brothers”, got me.

Be aware that the path to have their HEA is full of pitfalls, surprising revelations, violence and murder, but when you read the end, you are so happy for them. I almost cried; I went through a lot with this reading; with no time out, on full speed mode. Sometimes, King’s complex personality gave me chills, he was cold-hearted and anyone would not stand between him and his family.

I devoured this book in three hours, totally enthralled by the story from the first word until the end. Just WOW! The plot was so perfectly orchestrated.

I have a special mention for Prep, King’s best friend! A memorable character!

The next one is about Bear and I’m so looking forward for it!!
