This story was full of twists, and captivating. Smart, engaging and inventive, Miles’ story knocked me out.
This one was my first from this author and definitely not my last. It was surprising and challenging at many levels.
This story about a man (Miles Capadonno) who was framed for murder for seventeen years was totally mind-blowing. Mafia runs in the family but not for him. Wanting not to be part of his father’s business, he was planning to live with her high school sweetheart, Letty. One night changed everything, and BAM, it was the beginning of an intriguing, suspenseful and phenomenal story.
It was smartly written with twists and such incredible ability to make you doubt about everything and everyone. When you think you were on lead, be sure that the author knows how to play you until the end.
Addison Kline’s writing was masterful, with a story on a full speed mode and no time out! I won’t talk about more the plot because it would spoil all of it and trust me, you will enjoy the crazy ride!
Don’t Forget the romance either, because this couple (Miles and Letty) are EPIC, with a love that conquers all.
Rough, raw, strong with his persistence to win his woman back and seek revenge. Letty is also a woman that won’t mess up with. She’s independent, sweet and so strong. Their chemistry was off the charts and moved me.
This book is definitely a top read. The story was written also with music as pivotal part of the book. I wanted to emphasize this point of this story. To my mind, it was increasing the intensity of the moment. My heart was racing throughout the story and I could only catch my breath at the end. So well played Addison Kline!Be sure, I am so gonna read the next ones of this series!!!
