BOOK BLURB:

“If you want to date me, all you need to do is say the word. I’d never let you go.”

I added Sage to my rugby club’s annual list of women who are off limits thinking I could protect her from the gorillas I play with. Aspen’s a small town in the off season when the dating pool shrinks to the size of a melted snowflake. Never did I think I’d be the one to break the code and date her.

Even if it’s all for show. A wager between friends. An excuse to hang out with her more.

Nothing more than that.
Right?

***

Who agrees to date their best friend over a green smoothie? Apparently this girl right here.

Now the man-bun-sporting South African rugby god next door is my fake boyfriend. I need to rebuild my confidence after some poor dating decisions. Who could be better to fluff my ego than Aspen’s hottest bachelor?

This situation is a win-win.
Right?

Next to You is a standalone Romantic Comedy/New Adult Romance about a rugby player and an heiress in Aspen. Stan and his man bun first appeared in the Modern Love Story Short, Take for Granted. This is a full-length novel told in dual POVs.

A friends to lovers contemporary romance that I enjoyed so much! Sage and Stan made me smile, the kind of goofy and dreamy one.

I met Stan in one of Daisy Prescott’s novella, Take it For Granted, and damn, I was drooling for the sight of this bearded rugby man and also bartender, too sexy and charming for his own good. Really!

When I knew he was getting his own story, I immediately got on board! I fell in love with the sexy bartender with a man bun! Le Sigh!!!

Anyway, back to the story, because I would be myself telling you how Stan the Man Bun was my dream man …

So what happened when two best friends definitely attracted to each other decided to be together, but not for real? ** huge smile ** A sweet, romantic and so sexy road to find love.

Sage and Stan were sort of best friends who liked to tease but also were off limits to each other. Stan was scoring with other women while Sage was unlucky with men. When I read about these two, I wanted to yell : ‘What are you waiting for guys???’ But I wasn’t disappointed  by the way the author put things together. **smiling again.**

There were good surprises in here, I won’t tell you more, you should really read it! *Wink*Wink*

Stan was cocky and a ladies man, totally nailing the art of getting women fainting and swooning. Yup, like a kind of gift, but no searching for a relationship. At all.  Sage was the sexy girl next door with a heart of gold and the only one woman who wasn’t swooning over him and keeping him grounded. Trying to be at least, not showing at all her feelings for him.

Everyone could see what was really happening between these two, but the two concerned were totally oblivious, or completely in denial, afraid to ruin this balance in their friendship.

Of course, there were some obstacles, uncertainties, where lines between friendship and love were blurred, but the chemistry and banter were incredible! Stan was so sweet and the same time smoking hot and well Sage was kinda sexy and totally badass, they were totally a great match.

The chemistry was off the charts at every levels!  Some scenes were incredibly sensual and hot, just getting hot in here!

Reading about these being together was heartwarming, entertaining and so sweet. Next to You was the kind of story that made me freaking smile, a beautiful romance without no heavy drama or crazy plot, but just about two people discovering each other and falling in love. My face still hurts from smiling!
