I fell in love with the HotHoles, Vicious was scary and dangerous, Jamie intense and passionate. What about Dean?? He is just an arsehole after my own heart, the joyful one hiding his scars and addictions. Just a freaking surprise.
And what about the woman who stole his heart, Rosie? My kind of girl.
A heart breaking, a bit sad and tragic story about star crossed lovers, who are doomed from the start. I was up to the challenge and I adored their story with my whole heart.
Dean is always the one with the playful banter charming the ladies by his wicked smile and good looks, changing his mind like changing clothes. But I loved peeling the layers of him. So close to be my favorite, right after Jamie. A joyful man with a tormented soul.
Be sure about one thing, he may be determined to get the woman but he’s going to ruin things a lot. That’s what the HotHoles do best is to ruin things and rule the world. Kind of. He has flaws but he is so terribly endearing and melt my heart. And also a bit of a geek. Damn my heart …
Rosie is a fighter, using sarcasm as a weapon, trying to survive in spite of her illness. I admire her. I was in awe of how she wanted to live her life, to be independent. Sheltered all her life, she was good in New York until the boy who stole her heart came back and literally intruding her life, distrusting her plans to live the life she wanted. She didn’t give a damn about how people think but when it comes to the one she loved, I felt crushed, seeing how little she was, with no one trying to understand or to be in her shoes. The sick girl with a limited time showing so much courage and strength.
The two of them?? Fireworks aren’t enough to describe their relationship. They are just meant to be. A decade later and after all the decisions leading to heartbreak,it was time to claim what was right. Them together. No matter what.
They might be hot tempered but I loved how they accepted each other’s flaws and darkness without judging but supporting each other, being each other’s rock.
Their banter was just effortless, natural and meaningful from swooning to hot, with some dirty talks in between. And oh my, this was smoking hot. I melt like a puddle, so getting hot in here.
I really enjoyed the story but I might add a little aside : the way Rose’s family acted or trying to smother her, always judging without being comprehensive. Her relationship with Emilia was a bit different from what I saw in the first book, seeing how they were both oblivious to each other’s feelings. They unconsciously hurt each other it was kinda strained to me.
I wasn’t afraid of the outcome. This book was pretty upfront, with no filters. The ugly, the good, the bad, you got it all, but when you read Dean and Rosie’s story, it was worth the fight, worth everything.
