I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.
The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.
Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns.
Her passion for neatness.

Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.
I need to know everything about her.
Her past. Her present.
The way she takes her coffee.
Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.

She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.

I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.

Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

Bloody hell … This story was all kind of crazy, utterly twisted and creepy. I don’t know how the author got this idea, to write about this stalker and the woman who stole this heart.
I read that story almost in a state of shock but I had to say that I liked it a lot.

Violet was a broken woman whose soul has been destroyed and deeply damaged. After years on the run, she got sick of being unnoticed for her work and decided to move on and on that day, her boss of several years finally saw her. Trouble, trouble …T minus 14 days … a few days that would change her life for best but also for the worse.

Grayson, a powerful man full of secrets and darkness with a strong hint of stalkerish tendencies. Neat, calculated his every moves, until things got in his way.  After reading about this man and unraveled all his secrets, I was stunned.

The author created a character who could make you scared, gave you chills and at the same time you can’t stay indifferent to him, like the more you read, the more you want to see how far he was willing to go to protect his loved ones. Attracted like a moth to a flame.

The mood was utterly dark with some twisted moments, dirty talks, with a man who finally coming out of the fog and seeing things in a different light and no one who can stop him to claim what’s his. His ways to show his love was kinda disturbing and unnerving. Obsessive, protective but always putting his family first.

I must have issues because I have to tell you that the author succeeded to capture me. The constant tension of the storyline, due to the heroine past was addictive, I like to read a story where anything is black or white, and sometimes what feels wrong is sometimes right. The characters’ behavior might be questionable at times but the author managed to get it understandable and mostly believable. What a journey …
