⭐️ Release Blitz – Bohemian by Kathryn Nolan ⭐️

Two souls, drawn together beneath a fierce sky…

Calvin Ellis’s neat and orderly life is shattered when his grandfather dies, leaving him ownership of a quirky bookstore in Big Sur, California. The Mad Ones: once a place famous for poetry readings and bohemian rebellion, it now teeters on the brink of financial ruin.

Lucia Bell’s glamorous life as a super model is put into stark perspective when she shows up for a photo shoot, at a bookstore, in the middle of nowhere. She finds herself oddly intrigued by the quiet, nerdy owner with the huge glasses reading behind the register.

One night they share a passionate and frenzied kiss against a bookshelf. Outside the store, lightning strikes. Trees topple. And the world shakes beneath their feet.

As the storm tears its way through Big Sur, Calvin and Lucia share and explore their most secret desires. Hopes and dreams they once thought lost are recaptured. But inevitably, as reality roars back, they find themselves stuck at a crossroads.

Two conflicting paths. And each must make their own decision.

Which life will they choose? And will it include the other?

Kathryn Nolan writes erotic romance novels and quick-and-dirty novellas. She loves a smart, strong heroine. She likes her heroes filthy-mouthed (and not afraid to bend a little).

And she’s all about that slow-burn sexual tension. When she’s not at her day job (which is top-secret) she enjoys feminism, foreplay and having her nose in a book.

She’s a morning writer, a bike commuter, and the world’s biggest X-Files fan.

I can’t write any poetry but I’m gonna tell you this:  Bohemian was a such a beautiful journey, more than that; it was everything. This review is going to be long rambling, crazy declaration of love… well you’ve been warned!

There was something in this story that resonated with me, words that moved me, enthralled me, being lost into words for hours and never wanted this experience to end. I enjoyed it to its fullest, appreciated and cherished for a moment a story that will stay on my mind and in my heart for a very long time.

This sensation of overwhelming emotions was something soul searching, and very shattering. I felt so much, the atmosphere was emotionally charged, the words turning into a breathtaking tale. I was transported by the flow of the storytelling, words running through the pages smoothly.
Lucia and Calvin were not destined to meet but they found their soulmate in the most unexpected place. Two people at a crossroad in their lives, different worlds, but sharing the same love for words and mostly for poetry. And oh my, they made my heart beat so fast, gave me chills… Le freaking sigh.
I think I have a crush on Calvin. Unraveling every layer of this man, the more I read about him the more I fell in love. Fragile and strong, domineering and sweet, brave but also very introvert at times, definitely more than a crush.

There was something incredibly appealing and addictive about this character. Something that made me want more. Living a life changing experience, from the city to a place that his parents ran away from.
Lucia had it all: fame, fans, money. As a famous model, she used to the spotlights and people fanning all over her. One look at the sexy geek, owner of a bookstore and she was sold. Every day look like the same and even if she was one of the best in her job, something was definitely missing. Being in Big Sur, far away from social media or any virtual contact put everything in perspective. Conflicted between her real personality and the way people perceived her, as a model with the layers well hidden beneath her good looks. She was more than meet the eye.

The unknown is always scary and being in the comfort of your routine may be safer than everything else, but the connection they have… it’s the one of a lifetime.

When hearts and words collided, it created a magnificent poetry, the kind of one that gave me chill and butterflies.  Add in the mix some naughty and dirty times… just so intense and hot. I was just melting and some other things.

Their story showed us that you should take what’s life has to offer, through the good and the bad times. To live for yourself and do something that makes you happy, not to settle for conformity. To have the life you want without being judged and feel what’s right for you. Time to be mad and wild, to let your desires become a reality not a fantasy. To take the leap.

It was undefinable, indescribable, and so much more, hard, mystical, tender. My love for this book is beyond words. It just speaks to my heart.

I may have a Bohemian soul after all.
