You know what’s even better than marrying a billionaire? Having his baby.
We’re ready. We’ve studied and planned, read all the birth and labor books, researched parenting classes, consulted our schedules, and it’s time.
And by we I mean me.
Declan’s just ready for the “have lots of sex” part. More than ready.
But there’s just one problem: my husband and his brother have this little obsession with competition.
And by little, I mean stupid.
That’s right.
We’re not just about to try to bring a new human being into the world.
We have to do it better, Faster, Stronger.
Harder.
McCormick men don’t just have babies.
They engage in competitive billionaire Babythons.
I thought the hardest part about getting pregnant would be dealing with my grandchild-crazed mother, who will go nuts shopping for a billionaire’s baby.
Wrong.
Between conception issues, my mother’s desire to talk to the baby through a hoohawcam, a childbirth class led by a drill sergeant and a father-in-law determined to sign the kid up for prep school before Declan even pulls out, my pregnancy has turned out to be one ordeal after the other.
But it’s nothing — nothing — compared to the actual birth.

Bestselling New York Times and USA Today author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 1.5 million books, with 4 New York Times bestsellers and more than 16 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French and German, with more titles releasing in 2017.
From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men’s room toilet (and he isn’t a billionaire).
She lives in New England with her husband and three sons in a household where the toilet seat is never, ever, down.

I can’t seem to believe that Julia has written book thirteen in the Shopping for a Billionaire’s series… and she did! It’s really hard to maintain a certain constancy and great quality value when you wrote so many books, and each book is always a surprise. I don’t know what would come from Julia Kent’s mind.
I’m repeating myself with this series but if you’d like a good laugh, a book that would send you good vibes, just read it! Just a great balance between the hilarious and so crazy things that would happen in the story and this hint of emotional moments that would made you swoon.
Once you started this crazy ride, you won’t stop! Hilarious, silly at times, so swoon-worthy and terribly endearing.
All is said in the title, Shannon and Declan want to be a family and as you might guess, nothing’s going into the plan. I adored the author’s creative mind when it came to tell us stories that ran smooth.
Of course the situations could be as much ridiculous as hilarious, there was some crazy stuff going on but the writing made it believable. So fitted to this universe. I got attached to these bunch of colorful characters. It puts me in a good mood every time.
It was with a huge on face that I read Shannon and Declan’s baby steps for this new chapter in their lives, bringing uncertainties, hesitations but always filled with love. I might have been gotten a little bit emotional with this book. I’m amazed how the author could switch from hilarious moments to more serious ones, with such naturalness. I guess it’s the Julia Kent’s magic touch. I can’t wait to read the next book. Just addictive!
