Pretty things don’t distract me. In my line of work, a distraction will get you caught. Or in my case, blackmailed. But this isn’t the only time I’ve been hustled, and soon Connor Hayes will learn that men are only pawns in my end game. I don’t love. I hate. Even a pretty boy like him.

Hayes

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Except when they are five-foot-seven and hotter than my exhaust pipe. So, I blackmailed her. It was either that or turn her in. And if anyone was going to put her in handcuffs, it was going to be me. Bianca Morgan stole the only woman I’ve ever loved. It’s only fair she replace her.

About the Author:
A self-proclaimed reader enthusiast, Kristy started her writing journey back in 2009, reading and writing when her daughter was napping. Establishing her place in Corporate America (because something had to pay the bills), writing became her dirty, late-night secret.
After eight long years, she released her debut novel, Commander in Briefs. It was a long road, but she can honestly say, the road less traveled had the most beautiful sights.
The only thing Kristy Marie loves as much as reading and writing is sports! Especially those that require muscles and a nice ass. Her favorite is, and always will be, baseball. She’s such a fan, that she even married her small town’s high school’s centerfielder where they still live with their three badass kids.

Drifter was such an amazing read! I enjoyed the crazy and wild ride. It was sexy, fun, a breath of fresh air, full of sass and quirky. Connor and Bianca were definitely a catch and when these two collide, nothing else matters. Two strong personalities with some baggage on their own, one of the right side of the law and the other totally not.

All started with a dance, a bike theft and a blackmail. I appreciated the touch of madness, where things were insane but at the same time so meant to be.

The manwhore and bad boy Connor has met his match and it was going to be one of the toughest battles of his life; especially to break down all her walls. A woman who went through so much, when her past experiences made her so wary and not knowing how to rely on people. Not showing her weaknesses. When Connor became rooted in her life, so naturally, she knew how much trouble he would be, melting her heart and turning into something steady in her life for once.

I adored Bianca, with her badass attitude and her sass, hiding a such a softie in the inside. The only one who could definitely see past her attitude was him. From a lonely and unsure life she suddenly became part of a big family, protective and loud, not giving a damn about your past, believing in second chances.

The banter and chemistry were off the charts, the innuendos pretty heavy but totally fitted to these bunch of crazies. They had no filter. At.All!

This story wasn’t only fun. The author managed to find the right way to combine heavy and dark moments to the lighter ones. It went flawlessly, it was so effortless to fall in love with them.

The characters have depths, more complex than they seemed to be. I’ve been pleasantly surprised until the end. I would have read it in one sitting if I could.

It was a surprising read, rich in so many ways and kept me captivated until the end! So damn good!
