Title: Boss, I Love To Hate
Author: Mia Kayla
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 25, 2019

Dear Mr. Brisken,

How do I hate you?
Let me count the ways.

I hate your smug, sexy millionaire face.
I hate your cocky, skirt chasing, playboy ways.
I hate working as your secretary—but, I love the pay. It almost makes dealing with you worth it.

I hate how my friends call you a BILF, when really BILK (Boss I’d like to kill) is more appropriate.

I hate that I need you to be my date for my best friend’s wedding because my ex-boyfriend, the King of Heartbreakers, and his new busty blonde girlfriend will be in attendance.

But mostly, I hate how once the charade is over, I might not hate you at all…it was so much easier when you were the Boss I Love To Hate

“One of the best office/enemies to lover books I’ve read.
Brad and Sonia were so cute! I loved their banter, I loved the way they were with their families. I loved everything about this book. Addictive, funny and so amazing!” – Early Reviewer

“Perfectly written, unique, wonderfulness. I will be rereading this over and over again. One of my top ten books ever! Mia Kayla knocked this one out of the park, she left me with more feelings than I knew what to do with. The ultimate book hangover ( I mean hangover like I couldn’t get over it or stop thinking about it), nothing could compare. I had a really hard time reading anything else after this book because it was just that good!” – Early Reviewer

Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who lives in Illinois. She is the wife to the husband of the year and mommy to three unbelievable cute little girls who have multiplied her grey hairs.

In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.

Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.

She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.

Boss I Love to Hate was a such feel good book, cute and charming office/ enemies to lovers story with an amazing banter and slow burn foreplay.

It was just effortless to fall in love with the characters and their story. Sonia has been the only secretary Brad was ever able to keep. His reputation preceded him, as a bossy, arrogant and jerk, nonetheless professional but lacking of empathy or tact when it came to his employees.

It was the jerk and she was the woman who he couldn’t live without… I meant professionally.

He pushed back she pushed harder. She couldn’t definitely stand by herself and give him a run for his money. Never in the few years they’ve been working together they shared any romantic thoughts or shown any interests… unless for going for each other’s throats. It worked perfectly until now. She was off-limits; he kept his place as her boss. Being sometimes heartless and inconsiderate.

What was just a ploy to show that she moved on, Sonia and Brad weren’t expecting to find that something more in the way. I adored how these two realized at their own time that they were falling for each other without really even trying.

Brad was definitely a boss I loved to hate but mostly to love. That man could be a shark in a boardroom and just the cutest and sweetest one when he was with his nieces. He made me swoon so many times while interacting with them, a personality so far away from the image and reputation he reflected at work. A family guy who tried to find a woman, but failed miserably. Losing interest quickly.

Sonia was such a trooper, badass secretary who wasn’t falling for his good looks and flirty ways. An equal at work when she was most bossing him around. Managing his schedule and appointments, hard worker, sharp and precise. And then the craziest proposal came by and how little she knows that would affect her more deeply than she would. Blurred lines alert!

I adored their banter so much, to drive each other crazy without effort. It felt so natural, so entertaining. They made me smile and laugh so hard that I lost count. I enjoyed reading this book for sure, it had great development characters, the build of the romantic relationship was a major strength in this book. A romantic comedy heartwarming, sexy, sweet and so endearing!
