The difference by Kaylee Ryan was a very swoony read filled with a tons of sugary sweet.

This story about a woman who had no luck when it came to love found probably the man who would show her the way of healing her heart no without crushing the strong walls she has built.

After some relationships that pretty ended badly and broke any confidence and trust when it came to men, Addyson wasn’t expecting to find the right guy along the way, who was willing to prove her that he was the difference.

When Lucas met Addyson, all bets were off. Listening to that woman telling how bad her past relationship were, he couldn’t deny his attraction and undeniable pull he felt when she was around. For a man who wasn’t looking for something more, he met his match and wasn’t giving up, constantly fighting for them.

I enjoyed reading their story even if I was a bit afraid to have some redundancy but I felt in every step that they were moving forward throughout Addyson and Lucas’ journey. I appreciated this hero, who was so strong to it out of her comfort zone, being patient and caring about her needs. Trust me, he wasn’t perfect and had a lot to learn.

I wanted just a little bit more confrontation sometimes. The heroine was hurt in the past and her trust issues were clouding her judgment, I totally get that but I wanted more reaction from Lucas. Proving her that it was the difference was such swoony, sweet but Addyson needed so much push at times. 

However, it was a beautiful story about finding love and to fight for it. Incredibly sweet and charming.
