Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce.
Not me.
It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than
just her brother’s best friend.
When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole
time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.
Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.
After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.

A pizza my heart was a perky romantic comedy filled with communicative cheerfulness, fun, sweet so terribly endearing.
Wren and Foster, best friends and then nothing when Foster left town and got married. Four years later and divorce, he came back into town, with living with Wren’s twin, Winston.
I adored the no filter banter and flirting a lot with “unpolitically” correct, using a lot of sarcasm to express themselves. What Wren didn’t see coming that her best friend was in love all these years, totally oblivious to the obvious.
Wren seemed to live in a fog where Foster was put in the friend zone, a bit like a brother but not really, while the other was feeling something more. The chemistry was amazing and the banter so entertaining, and the foreplay… so hot.
The thing is, as best friends who supposed to tell everything, they were just terrified to show the other their real feelings.
They made some mistakes along the way, growing apart but when they met again, it felt like they’ve never been separated, it was so easy and effortless.
It was a delightful read, with colorful characters, so refreshing and fun!
