he first installment in this new series by Elizabeth Lynx portrayed some colorful and eccentric characters, bubbling and kind-hearted, involving a woman who was struggling to keep her business afloat and also being a dating disaster and the billionaire who had a crush on her and managing it not very well, realizing that sometimes money can’t buy you or help you to get what your want. He is going to learn it the hard way.
Marika and James made me smile and laugh so much. I appreciated their banter and natural chemistry. She had a difficult time with her coffee shop and she was trying to stand against the competition but she was closed to hit rock bottom. How could she compete with it? Entering a contest to win a date with a billionaire and win enough money to make it through.
James thought he had it all, a successful vlog, money, fame, enjoying life one day at a time.
Not relationship material but meeting Marika put things into perspective. For the first time a woman was interested by all he could provide them but for his personality. Well, obviously she didn’t know anything about his life.
He had plans to win the girl but nothing happened as expected. A few mishaps and misunderstandings leading to some hilarious moments.
It was sweet, cute and steamy. Emotional at times. I really enjoyed it.
