BLURB

One single summer changed them forever, and one moment of devastating silence destroyed it all.

Growing up with six siblings, Leo Preston has always struggled to find his voice.

While his brothers are loud, greedy, and somewhat obnoxious, Leo is forever the quiet one.

The thinker.

The listener.

He watches his life pass by as an outsider in his own world, absent and alone.

Lost.

Until he finds her.

For Leo, Mia Kovács is like a prize, a gift wrapped in passion and devotion.

And she’s his—his very own secret he doesn’t have to share.

Together, they can overcome anything…

heartache and destruction, guilt and regret.

Mia gives Leo everything he didn’t know he needed,

including her fragile heart.

The only thing she doesn’t give him…

are secrets of her own.

What an experience! If you have read it, you will totally understand it.

Did you feel it too?? Damn right. So intense. So everything!

As I said earlier, this story is an experience in itself, heartbreaking and gut-wrenching. A story when you watch the main characters falling in love but struggling with their own issues.

Love, in all its forms, glory and complications.

Every time I read about the Preston family, I fell more in love with one of the characters, the one who shared his story with the readers. I felt like that main character was my favorite until the author wrote another story about another member. I guess each one is my favorite at one point but Leo… le freaking sigh.

Being part of a large family and finishing your own place could be tough, no matter how much love you have for your siblings. Leo is a quiet one and a good listener, who tends to keep his feelings for himself, loving with all his heart and soul. Until he met Mia and all he wanted for once was to have someone for himself, his sunshine through the darkness.

Leo and Mia totally captured my heart, even if I knew that it would be an emotional journey, I loved every minute of it and captured wonderfully candid moments. Their story was an epic one, love that defied time in spite of how they were pushed into tough circumstances. All the feels!

The author definitely has a way with words. Tortured and characters angry to the world, talking about some tough topics well rooted in reality, rejection, forgiveness and writing beautifully about family and how strong that bond could be.
