⭐️ New Release – C-26 by D.D. Lorenzo ⭐️

C-26 by D.D. Lorenzo is now live!

Love and Time. Always hoped for, never promised.

Love conquers all… even time.

Writer Skylar Harrison is a beautiful old soul telling timeless love stories in a fast-paced, superficial world. Spending hours a day lost in the pages doesn’t allow much time for a love story of her own. But it’s possible her story has already begun.

Musician Darren “Dash” Barrows seemingly has it all. As lead guitarist for “Disordered Fate,” everything he could ever want is at his fingertips–except an honest relationship. Life on the road has left him jaded and alone. But not for long.

Two strangers are about to have their lives turned upside down by a serendipitous encounter that leaves them both breathless. In the moment Dash shows Skylar that chivalry isn’t dead, she feels a mysterious connection to the handsome man who came to her rescue. When fate collides their paths, does time stop?

Or has it been spinning all this time?

** ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review. **

It was an interesting and intriguing story. Showing that love defies time and space and no matter how your soulmate would find you.

Get your box of tissue ready because you would need it or a glass or wine, probably both.

I found this approach interesting and how the author paid attention to details throughout the story. I guess that is what I appreciated the most.

In spite of this original storyline and great writing, I felt like something was missing.

Skylar and Dash fell in love hard and fast. A love of a lifetime. As much I adored their meet cute, a cute and flirty banter and a promising epic story to come. The original idea and essence of the story should have been a strong foundation.

Somehow in the way, it wasn’t enough. The moments they shared should have been memorable but some interactions felt odd to me.

It wasn’t that smooth and maybe intentional.

Especially in the middle of Skylar and Dash’s story. Too much drama, uncertainties and also wasting time about arguing instead of listening to the other. That the way their love goes, intense and passionate.

I wish I could have connected more with the story. It took me too much time to make that connection, happening mostly at the end of the book. Those last chapters were so beautifully written, showing the extent of their love, a conclusion that really moved me.
