⭐️ New Release – CAMPUS PLAYER by Jennifer Sucevic ⭐️

Release Date: December 26

Trust me when I say that Rowan Michaels fever is

alive and well at Western University. His fanbase is

legendary.

The guy is a major player.  Both on and off the field.

Girls fall all over themselves to be with him. They fill the

stands at football practice, show up at parties he’s rumored to

be at, and basically stalk him around campus.

It’s a little nauseating.

Don’t these girls have any self-respect when it comes to a hot

guy?

Fine…I’ll admit it, he’s good looking. If you’re into that kind of

thing. Which I’m not. I’ve got school and soccer to keep me

busy which is exactly why I avoid him like an unfortunate clap

diagnosis.

Too bad for me that Rowan is my father’s star quarterback. He’s practically part of

the family, attending Wednesday night dinners with us. To make matters worse,

we’re in the same major and get stuck together in classes every semester. It’s like

the universe is trying to play a cosmic joke on me. The one guy I’d like to steer clear

of is the very same one I can’t seem to get away from.

But what if Rowan isn’t the manwhore I pegged him to be?

What if one little secret has the capability to change everything between us?

*This is a mature New Adult novel with strong language and sexual situations

intended for readers over the age of 18*

Campus Player was an interesting story, not with the usual hero who is going to melt your heart, a badass heroine, a little angst and drama.

Welcome to Western University!

I appreciated the main characters for most part of the story.

Demi is the coach daughter, soccer player, fierce and independent. Rowan has been for years part of her life, as her father took him under his wings. She put him in a safe place, where he was off limits, trying so hard not to let him in.

Rowan was just… oh my heart!  A guy with some reputation but definitely more than meet the eyes. Focused on his team, endearing and caring. His specialty : knowing how to rile Demi up in one second and the other to bring some heat, leaving her a little confused.

Their banter was really great, back and forth with a little angst to make it interesting. They did have great chemistry and there was definitely sparks with these two, even if Demi was in denial and protecting herself. I couldn’t wait to see how their story was going to lead them.

It had a great beginning and a promising story to come. I was rooting for these two.

Demi was sometimes too judgemental and going to a conclusion so quickly but I appreciated to see that she learned from this and grew up throughout the story. Rowan was full of surprises and complex. There was some maturity from the main characters but acting like people of their age. I enjoyed seeing how sports took a major part of the story, revealing driven characters, passionate and charming.

Their story was that passionate, sometimes to the extreme, sometimes sweeter. I wished to read more from Rowan’s POV. In spite of great material, I felt like some subplots were taking too much space and then to be solved too easily, I wanted more confrontation at some moments.

There was some good material but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy it.
