Gus Taylor… le freaking sigh all the swoons.
I’ve been intrigued and curious about how he would find his match, right next door!
I smiled tons with this character. From the moment he met Susannah and her cute daughter Olive, all bets were off but it seemed that the single mother was immune to his charms or trying too hard to fight it.
I adored his interactions with Olive so freaking sweet and funny. He was a long way gone without really knowing it.
I appreciated how smoothly and natural it went. Susannah was guarded and reserved. Her only priority was Olive, nothing else. It took one determined guy with some hilarious strategy to win her over.
Gus really surprised me in this story, unexpected and definitely book boyfriend material. He fought dirty but let Susannah lead the pace. I liked that.
Damn he was too charming for his own good.
I enjoyed the balance between the funny moments and the emotional ones.
For once Gus had to fight for it. Susannah was keeping him on his toes. The back and forth made me smile tons.
I adored Olive. She was the one who could manage to put them all together, with all her sweetness and cuteness.
Gus wasn’t afraid to fight every battle for his two girls, protective and caring, loving them fiercely.
Showing in every way how much he cares… damn my heart. Susannah was finding love again and also a way back to life.
It has a communicative cheerfulness, hilarious and cute. Can’t wait for the last Taylor book!
