As the holiday season approaches in this fourth book in the No Weddings Series, Cade Michaelson strives to be better at balancing work and love, and Hannah Martin’s growing ability to trust is put to the test.
Lust and friendship brought us together, but with the increasing demands of my two businesses, Hannah’s thriving bakery, and our successful event-planning company, stability becomes my focus.
Then a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity takes me to the West Coast, and everything goes into a tailspin.
Laughter, love, and excitement fill our lives, but Cade refuses to settle into the wonderful bliss we’ve found—he wants spectacular fireworks and an unshakable foundation. Driven like no one I’ve ever met, Cade insists a dream job across the country will be better for our future together, but I worry about whether we can survive the present apart.
When intimate time diminishes…and lives get more hectic…
Will a little bit of faith be all that it takes? Or will the sacrifice to get there be too great?
My review :
** ARC provided by the authors via NetGalley for an honest review **
After crazy exes and Two Bar Mitzvahs, the new challenges is having three Christmases and for Hannah and Cade finding an appropriate balance in their personal lives!!
All their business are so successful that Cade and Hannah didn’t have much time to see each other. Things were going so fast and they had to work hard to make things work. When Cade was having an opportunity to take his professional ambitions to another level, Hannah supported him to do it, even if they had to be separated for miles. She wanted Cade to be happy and to follow his dreams. She was such a selfness woman. This time they acted like true life partners and learn from their past mistakes!
They both trying to do everything in their power to be together, the distance wasn’t helping, and we saw that they were both struggling and treasuring each moment they shared.
Their week ends were…very, very hot and steamy, involving again some closets!! In this one, hannah became more and more adventurous for the well being of Cade!! Not only the sex parts were hot but Kate and Stone Bastian knew to write very good sexy, naughty, sensual moments into Hannah and Cade’s intimacy. the level of hotness was getting higher at each book!
Even if they loved each other, the distance separated them a little bit and they had to adapt to each other’s life without being together. Long distance relationship wasn’t frightening them. But when Cade had to stay at his new office because he was very busy, we can sense that Hannah had a hard time to fit into this lifestyle and tried to be honest with him.
Cade had to fight back to be with the love of his life, and when he’s decided, nothing could stop him to be with Hannah again, distance, weather, natural disasters! They both have their moments of doubt but these two were perfect together. Cade in this one made me swoon with his romanticism, his undying love for Hannah.
The last pages were the perfect ending for their beautiful journey through second chances to find happiness, love. To be grateful for the life you had and to cherished every moment with the loved ones. I was really enjoying this series, a true love story with amazing and endearing characters.
